Calvin Hugh Judy, 67, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning February 19, 2014 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring. He was born on April 15, 1946 in Everett, MI to parents Freeman and Freda Judy. Calvin moved to Lake Placid 12 year ago from Michigan where he was a retired fiber optics installer with the phone company. He was a member of the Lake Placid Moose Lodge 2374, Lake Placid Elks Lodge 2661, American Legion Placid Post 25, VFW Post 3880 and the Placid Lodge 282 F&AM. Calvin enjoyed playing cards two times a day and love spending time with his family and friends. Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Margaret; daughter, Kimberly Kleeves; son, Timothy Judy; 7 grandchildren, Erik, Heather, Christopher, Kaylee, Katlin, Kennedy and Konnor; 2 step-daughters, Lisa Mcdaniel and Sheila Gulch; step-granddaughter, Desiree Rowe; sister, LouAnn and brother, Mike. A memorial service to celebrate Calvin’s life will be held at a later date.
