Bob "Moose" Renner of Avon Park, Florida had a 5:50 pm tee time in heaven on Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was born September 19, 1938 to Irene Kerkhove and John Renner in Sterling, Illinois. On September 1, 1973 he married his soulmate Mary H. (Gressett) Landis. Bob retired from General Electric in 1994 with over 37 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling (one perfect 300 game) and "relaxing" with friends at Miss Vicki's and later on at Fat Boys. He was a member of GEAA, Lakeview and Morrison Country Clubs. He and Mary moved to Florida in 1998 to enjoy year round golf at Crystal Lake Club in the sunshine state. Survivors include his wife Mary; his mother Irene (Kerkhove) Huff, his 3 sons, Bob (Bobby) Renner Jr. of Morrison IL, Danny Ehredt of Rock Falls, IL and Jimmy Landis of St Cloud, FL; his 5 daughters, Carman Funderburgh of Thomson IL, Cindy Linn of Pensacola, FL, Cindy Whiting of Thomson, IL, Julie Ecker of Springville, IN and Sherrie McGill of San Diego, CA; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Henry Emerson of Morrison, IL, 2 sisters, Cathy Reinders of Fenton IL and Linda Roth of Morrison, IL. He was preceded in death by his infant son Richard Paul Renner, father John Renner, step-father Bobby Huff, granddaughter Angela McGinty and grandson Kevin McGill. To honor Bob's wishes there will be no service of any kind. Please feel free to "roast" him at your next social gathering.
