Leon Travis Waters, 62, of Sebring went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning January 12, 2016 at the good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring.

A native of Sebring, Travis was born to parents Candaise Cheshire and Leon Waters on February 19, 1953. Travis graduated from Lake Placid High School class of “71”. Travis worked for many years as an insurance agent in the area. Travis enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved to spend time with his family and friends. Travis was a member of the (clubs, and church).

He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Hinote; sisters, Yvonne Grill (Burl) and Lucy Falks; 9 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews and 17 great-grand nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a funeral service to celebrate Travis life at 4:00 PM with Pastor Rich Farley officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
