Obituary for Zelfa J. Lipkowski

Zelfa J. Lipkowski, 66, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Monday afternoon July 11, 2016 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora, Ontario, where she spent the summer months. Zelfa was the daughter to Ruth (Miller) and Robert Williams who was born on December 19, 1949 in Kewanee, Illinois. Her passion for dancing leads her to a career in dancing at several venues including the world famous Alabama Jacks in Florida City. She and her husband John moved to Lake Placid in 2003 from Homestead where continued clogging at the different fairs and events. Zelfa also enjoyed being out on the water, boating and fishing and loved to be with her family and friends. Zelfa was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Lipkowski is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years John. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathryn Martin; 2 grandchildren. A service to celebrate Zelfa’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Don Roberts officiating. Mrs. Lipkowski will be buried next to her husband at the Woodlawn Palms Cemetery in Naranja, FL.
