Jeannine  Giguere
Jeannine Giguere of Lake Placid, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2016. She was born on August 22, 1933 in Verdun, Quebec Canada to Gerard Mongrain and Marie Ange Lefebvre-Mongrain. She married the love of her life Claude Giguere, on July 18, 1953. They moved to the United States where they would stay and become U.S. citizens. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Giguere, survived by her two children, Mike Giguere (Spouse - Sharon Giguere) of Sebring and Claudia Bishop (Spouse - Kenneth Bishop) of Lake Placid. She was also survived by five Grandchildren, Nicole Noel of Lakeland, Monique Boone of Lakeland, Jason Wilkins of Lakeland, Ciara Bishop of Avon Park and Mason Bishop of Lake Placid. She also leaves behind four Great-Grandchildren, Logan, Dylan, Clayton and Austin all of Lakeland. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Jeannine’s memory to the American Cancer Society. Services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Scott Seawinds Funeral Home located at 504 W. Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid, Florida 33852 with Pastor Keith Campbell officiating.
