Kent W. Oliver of Lake Placid, Florida formally of Chesapeake, Virginia went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Florida. Kent was predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn "Jean" Oliver in 2006. Kent was the son of Archie Oliver and June Rose Kent and was born on September 2nd, 1939 in Linn County, Oregon. Kent was a Master Mechanic for Wilson Trucking before retiring in 2012. He was a private pilot who loved fishing, playing his guitar, and being with family and friends. He was a Jack Daniel Squire and a man of Faith. Kent is survived by his brother Ben J. Oliver of Foley, Alabama; his sisters Judith Yudin (Robert) of Lake Placid, Florida, Kathleen Weaver of Newport News, Virginia, half sister Mary Lon Conner of Oregon, and step-daughter Sherri McNeely (A.G.) of Hampton, Virginia, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
