Ernestine R.  Dixon
Ernestine R. Dixon, 73, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Monday afternoon November 7, 2016 at the Florida Hospital Lake Placid. Ernestine was the daughter of Arnell Hardy and Willie Rudolph who was born on February 28, 1943 in Salma, Alabama. Mrs. Dixon was a retired nurse in the health care industry and has been a long time resident of Lake Placid. Mrs. Dixon was a member of the Church of God by Faith. Ernestine enjoyed fishing, a good game of bingo and cooking for her family and friends. She loved to be with her family for those special family events. Ernestine is survived by her daughters; Patricia Young and Samantha Dixon; sons, Trifornia Rudolph (Jarine), John Edward Dixon and Ezzard C. Dixon (Blane); 16 grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; sisters, Voncille Hill, Sadie Mae Morris, Mary Rudolph, Mcnora Cumming, Elnora Mckinney and Willie Elmore; brothers, Willie J. Rudolph and Wilbur Rudolph; many nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Ernestine’s life will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd. with Pastor Eugene Lunford officiating.
