Obituary for William Jennings Bryan Bond III

William Jennings Bryan Bond III, 69 of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Thursday evening February 16, 2017 at his residence. William was the son of Marjorie Mae and William Jennings Bryan Bond, Jr. who was born on February 14, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia. William served his country with honors in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam. William’s passion for woodworking leads him to start his own business as a carpenter. William was a resident of Key West for ten years and moving here to Lake Placid 4 months ago. William was of the Christian faith. William enjoyed all outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, bicycle riding, and loved to be with his family and friends. William is survived by his loving children, Gwen Bond-White and Eric Bryan Bond; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. William’s wishes were for a private service for the family to celebrate his life back home in Huntington.
