Maryann Batdorf, 80, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017 at her residence surround by her family. Maryann was the daughter of Hannah Rebecca Engel and William Henry Snyder Jr., who was born on December 1, 1936 in Harrisburg, PA. Maryann has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past 17 years moving here from Boca Raton. Maryann was a bookkeeper for Tomoka Heights homeowner’s association and volunteered the majority of her time working for the Church. She enjoyed working on anything to do with numbers, her church mission work and a good game of bowling. Maryann loved to be with her family, friends especially her animals. She never knew a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her. Maryann was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Placid. Maryann is survived by her loving sons; John, David and Mark; 2 grandchildren and a brother Robert “Bobbie” Snyder. A service to celebrate Maryann’s life will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church 25 Lakeview Street Lake Placid with Rev. Richard Norris officiating.
