Condolence: Tim & family,
We were so sorry to hear the news about Pat.
A while back, I use to send Pat a letter now & then. She would respond with an email, & tease me for using "snail mail".

Condolence: I've learned that some angels are taken early. Pat was my 1st grade teacher and was great! She showed compassion, class and style. I think every girl in my class wanted to be her and every boy had a crush on her in typical 1st grade fashion. I was shy back then and she would cause me to blush when she called me her personal nick name, Bartholomew. Still cracks me up.

I remember being let down when my parents wouldn't let me have her again in 4th grade. She still said hi to me in the hallway.

When we connected on social media, it meant a lot that she took interest in what I've become. I wish I could have shared more how much she meant to me before she passed.

To Pat's family, you know her face shone brightly when she talked about her kids and grands. No one can replace her, and she will never be forgotten.

My prayers are with you as you adjust to this heartbreak. Pat was a special lady and touched many, many lives.

Condolence: I think I've been avoiding this. If I write something, it becomes REAL. I loved Mum like my own mom and the laughs and moments I have of this beautiful lady will forever be in my memories. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mother Kris and Pam as well as your wife "Dud"...all my words seem so simple when there are so many emotions I feel for her... your families... I struggled with ANY way I could express my love... I chose a brick which will memorialize her forever at the Sault's Hospice House garden. With her photographer eye and her ability to capture and enjoy a beautiful moment, I felt this would be what she would have liked. I love you all and am so sorry.---- T

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. I had her for fourth grade at Washington Elementary - I was brand new to town and brand new to the school. She was so comforting to me on the rough days; I will never forget her kindness and will always remember her as my favorite teacher. I remember also looking forward to seeing her very stylish outfits and the way her writing looked on the chalkboard; I remember trying to get my writing to look like hers. We also lived on Dillon St. and I always thought that was so neat - to live at the other end of the street from her and her family. Everyone I know that had her for a teacher loved her. Prayers to the family during this difficult time; I have not stopped thinking about all of you since I heard this sad news. She will be missed and very fondly remembered by all who knew her.
