David M. Tremper, 59 - born in New Haven, Connecticut, June 16, 1958, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness in Sebring, Florida, September, 24, 2017. Dave was a devoted son and brother, predeceased by his parents Claude Tremper and Roberta Johnson Tremper and by his sister Claudia Tremper, all of Wallingford, CT. A graduate of Lyman Hall High School, Dave worked alongside his parents for many years at Fairview Dairy, their family farm in Wallingford. He had a second career as a landscaping foreman. Dave was his mother’s primary caretaker for years after she was widowed, living with her to assist her full-time. She could not have asked for a better son and was very grateful for everything he did for her. After her death, Dave moved to his parents’ winter home in Lake Placid, FL, where he enjoyed his retirement. He had good friends and neighbors in Lake Placid and attended the First Baptist Church there. He took pleasure in cooking and loved animals.

Dave will forever be remembered by family and friends, including his two loving sisters, Maryellen Julian and her partner Douglas Van Dolen of Wallingford, and Beverly Prager and her husband Richard Prager of Charlton, Massachusetts, as well as his two nieces, Sarah Prager and Alexandra Scalfano.

Visiting hours and a short memorial service will be held at the North Haven Funeral Home at 36 Washington Avenue in North Haven, Connecticut.
