Obituary for Nancy Luella Gill

Nancy Luella Gill, daughter of Donald G. Bullard and Helen Kahn Bullard, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with whom she had a personal relationship on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, FL. She was born in Norwich, CT and lived both there and in Voluntown, CT before moving to Florida in 1993. She was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy and worked in many professions, including as a lab assistant at Norwich Hospital, The welfare Department, Norwich Orthopedic Group, and later became office manager/administrator for S. Pearce Browning III, MD until she retired. She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed singing with the Glad Hatters and in various church choirs for many years. She also enjoyed traveling in a motor home across most of the country and Canada and volunteered for many charitable projects. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years John Gill, her daughter Lorrie Kern Gault of Virginia, her sister Grace Curran of Franklin, CT, four stepchildren; Michael Gill of Berkeley, CA, Kathy Haase of Lake Placid, FL, Sharon Gill of Southport, NC, Denise Gill of Mystic, CT and many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life memorial service will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church 25 Lakeview Street, Lake Placid with Rev. Richard Norris officiating. Inurnment services will take place next spring in Connecticut. The family suggests donations in Nancy’s memory to the Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
