Obituary for Elizabeth Lynn Jackson Stanley

Elizabeth Lynn Jackson Stanley, 61, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning December 27, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family. Lynn, as most people know her, was a native of Lake Placid who was born on January 17, 1956 to parents JoAnna and Thomas U Jackson Jr. Lynn was a graduate of Lake Placid High School class of 1974. She was a retired bookkeeper of the family business, Paradise Mobile Village. Lynn enjoyed taking family trips to North Carolina and St Augustine, reading a good book, following her cooking shows and being around her animals. She loved to spend time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.
Lynn is preceded in death by her father Thomas U Jackson Jr. and she is survived by her loving daughters; Kristin L Stanley and Jessica L Stanley (Kyle), two grandsons; Colby and Leland, her loving mother Joanna Mae Jackson and brother; Tommy Jackson (Terry). A gathering and service for family and friends to celebrate and reflect on Lynn’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid with Mr. Charles Reynolds officiating.
