Obituary for Jane Catherine Grill

Jane Catherine Grill, 87, of Lake Placid joined her Lord on Wednesday night April 5, 2017 at her residence. Jane was the daughter of Agnes C. Petersen and Francis P. Houlihan who was born in Saginaw, MI on December 19, 1929. Jane was an employee with ATT for thirty years, working in many departments over those years. After retiring she and her husband moved to Lake Placid 22 years ago from Michigan. Jane was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Placid. She enjoyed cross-stitching, a good game of golf, cooking and baking for her family and friends. Jane loved to be with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Jane was one of 11 children and has been pre-deceased by brothers and sisters John, Bill, Marion, Tom, Ruth, Anne, Kathleen and Michael. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Don; daughters, Lynn Nash (Dennis) and Tricia Simon (Jim); 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; a sister, Margaret Schultz and a brother, Patrick Houlihan. A service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held Wednesday, April 12, 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 25 Lakeview Street, Lake Placid with Rev. Richard Norris officiating.
