Obituary for Earl James Bradley

Earl James Bradley, 93, 0f Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Saturday morning June 10, 2017 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring. Earl was the son of Elizabeth (Gray) and Raymond Bradley who was born on March 6th 1924 in Philadelphia, PA. Earl served his country with honors in the US Army during WWII. After his discharge from the service Earl went to work as a septa mechanic. Earl has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1974 moving here from Cinnaminson, NJ. Earl was a life member of the American Legion Placid Post 25. He worked at Sullivan's Amoco for over 30 years. Earl enjoyed coin collecting and attending the social events at the Legion. He loved to be with his family and friends especially his little dog Oreo. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Carol, daughter: Sheila, sons; Earl, John and Steven, three grandchildren; Bradley, Karyn and Earl, two great-grandchildren; Kaeley and Emma. A service with military honors by the US Army will take place at a later date at the Sarasota National VA Cemetery in Sarasota, FL. Arrangements entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home 504 W.
