Obituary for Barbara H. Heitzenrater

Barbara A. Heitzenrater, 81, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Saturday morning January 6, 2018 at the Southern Lifestyles in Lake Placid. She was the daughter of Naomi (Sturdavent) and William Wagner Lynch who was born on October 14, 1936 in Akron, Ohio. Barbara has been a long time resident of Lake Placid moving here from Ohio in 1960. She was a retired sales clerk who worked in the local stores in the area. Barbara enjoyed a good game of cards and having the winning bingo card. She loved to spend time with her family and friends especially all her grandchildren. Mrs. Heitzenrater is survived by her loving daughters; Vicky H Spires and Debbie Lusby, 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and two sisters: Darlene Phypers and Norma Canady. A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Community Church of God 735 S. Sun N Lakes Blvd. Lake Placid with Pastor Joseph DeHart officiating.
